We are seeking an experienced coordinator to join our team in Glen Waverley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting staff and resources behind the scenes, focusing on business outcomes, customer service, and staff cooperation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support families during the initial stages of arranging a funeral
  • Liaise with hospitals, families, and nursing homes to arrange deceased transfers
  • Coordinate and dispatch transfer teams
  • Schedule times for funerals, viewings, burials, and cremations
  • Allocate funeral staff, equipment, and vehicles
  • Complete the funeral day sheet (run sheet)

  • Effectively deal with a wide variety of people, internal and external to the organisation
  • Demonstrate excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Be willing to go the extra mile for customers and the company

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products
