Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist

We are seeking an experienced geotechnical professional to lead a range of projects in Northern NSW, with opportunities to deliver nationally and internationally.
  • This role involves interpreting and assessing data to develop practical and commercial solutions for geotechnical projects across various industries.
  • Responsibilities include conducting or directing geotechnical analyses in areas such as slope stability and remediation, footings, foundation treatments, ground retention, and pavement thickness design.
  • You will prepare and review proposals and technical reports, interact with clients through the project phases, and provide technical mentoring for junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology, preferably with post-graduate study.
  • At least 8 years' experience in geotechnical consulting and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong skills in investigation, interpretation, design, and delivery of geotechnical solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, prioritise tasks, and manage projects independently.
  • Excellent client collaboration, project management, and analytical skills using standard industry methods.
