About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Charles O'Neill Hostel in Mayfield West. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to our residents, working closely with our Care Manager to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Competent IT skills
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
