Companionship Volunteer Opportunity

Visiting a woman in her home can be a truly rewarding experience for both you and the person you visit. Just one hour of your time, once or twice a week, can make a significant difference to their life.

Able to listen and show empathy, you will bring joy and companionship to someone who really needs it. You can engage in conversation, share stories, and build a connection with the person you visit.

As a volunteer, you will be providing a valuable service that can help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Regular visits from volunteers can also help people feel more connected to their community.

What You Need To Do This Role
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

How Often Do I Need To Visit?

We'd love for you to visit our lovely woman once or twice a week, for an hour at a time. The frequency of visits will depend on your availability and what suits you best.

Visits can take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday. We're flexible and happy to discuss a suitable time with you.
