Job Opportunity: Arboricultural Officer

This position presents an exciting chance to work in the maintenance of Council's tree assets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our trees are healthy and thriving.

About the Role

  • Survey and maintain comprehensive records of Council's tree assets, identifying potential hazards and coordinating necessary maintenance works.
  • Work closely with the community to assess and complete CRM tasks related to tree health.
  • Maintain accurate records within Council's tree asset software.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Arboriculture (or equivalent) and relevant experience in assessing tree health/condition and specifying tree-related work.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with the community.
  • Experience working with asset databases and software, with a strong familiarity with tree asset management principles.
  • Proven performance in customer service and public communication.
