We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Day Therapy. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our unit.

Day Therapy provides patient care in partnership with Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Women's Hospital, across five areas: Chemotherapy, Medical, Transfusion, Apheresis, and Clinical Trials. As a Registered Nurse, you will plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • At least 12 months recent acute medical oncology experience
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
  • Patient-centered approach to care
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience with health information systems
