Job Opportunity: Merchandise and Buying Expert

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise and Buying Expert to join our team. As a critical member of our global lifestyle brand, you will play a key role in delivering customer satisfaction and driving sales results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Open-to-Buy (OTB) plan/schedule to maximize sales in line with global merchandising and local area marketing plans.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of merchandise to all channels, including stores, e-commerce, and wholesale.
  • Analyze past buying trends, sales records, and pricing to ensure localization against sales and margin targets.
  • Forecast consumer buying patterns in line with market and economic trends to inform buying decisions and meet financial targets.
  • Manage sell-through, markdowns, and inventory levels to optimize product offerings.
  • Strengthen omnichannel retailing and align with marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to communicate assortment decisions and gain insights on sales trends.
  • Provide account management and assortment planning services to key wholesale clients to maximize sku productivity and enhance sell-through KPIs.

  • Proven experience in merchandise planning, buying, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
