
Daily Inventory Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key player in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory across various locations. As a Daily Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough stock counts at different sites, utilizing handheld scanning devices to record data.
Your workday will typically start early, around 6:00 AM, from Monday to Thursday, with occasional Fridays. The approximate weekly hours are 22 hours, spread over 44 weeks per year, excluding peak holiday periods like Christmas and Easter. During these times, there may be opportunities to engage in other supermarket-related tasks.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package, including kilometre and travel time allowances, superannuation, and a staff discount card. Our team provides comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure your success.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A strong aptitude for accurate counting and data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a sound mathematical ability.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A commitment to maintaining a high level of attendance and a strong work ethic.
- An ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety.
You will enjoy a flexible casual schedule, with most shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. You may also be required to work occasional evenings or late nights. Periodically, you will need to travel on trips away for up to four nights, staying in twin share accommodation at the expense of the organization.
