The Technical Service Specialist is a pivotal role within an organization, responsible for delivering accurate and prompt service direction to field service inquiries via telephone and the web. The position requires troubleshooting and diagnostics for all technical issues, as well as effective communication through various channels, including tele-service, web communication, service publications, dealer service training, and warranty claim review.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the CS Escalation process and Full Harvesting portfolio of the region to ensure issues are addressed quickly and solutions developed/communicated appropriately.
- Process inquiries related to product failure diagnostics, performance, reliability, product features, service administration, product training, and warranty, structuring responses in Salesforce consistent with defined standards.
- Analyze problems using existing tools, such as Knowledge, Technical Publications, PPR tools, Engineering tools, etc., working with Team Leader and/or Product Performance Engineer when technical solutions are not known.
- Support Product Performance Specialist and Product Performance Manager to identify product issues while maintaining or improving product performance, reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- A comprehensive technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and products.
- Good understanding of mechanized agriculture and land preparation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and understanding of the farm machinery dealer network.
- High-level PC expertise and Office Package, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
