Staff Support Specialist

The role of Staff Services Coordinator is an essential part of our People & Culture team, providing administrative support to create a seamless and rewarding experience for employees throughout their lifecycle.
This position involves coordinating various administrative tasks, such as preparing materials for onboarding, facilitating laboratory tours, and setting up rooms for training programs and functions.
Responsibilities- Support the employee onboarding process by preparing relevant documents and facilitating induction sessions
- Manage daily administrative tasks including monitoring shared inboxes, maintaining databases, and preparing reports
- Plan events for staff functions, including annual service awards, bi-annual Brisbane staff events, and fundraising initiatives
- Coordinate logistics for training programs and functions
- Participate in and administer various People & Culture projects and initiatives
- A detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and passion for supporting others
- Efficient time management skills with proven abilities in customer service and administrative support
- Adaptability, reliability, and ability to identify areas for improvement
- Experience in SharePoint and Adobe Suite highly desirable
