Job Title: Heavy Rigid Truck Driver

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to join our team for a long-term assignment in the Wagga Wagga region.

As a Heavy Rigid Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy rigid trucks to safely transport materials and equipment. This may include towing trailers and performing general bridge maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy rigid trucks to transport materials and equipment
  • Tow trailers as required
  • Perform general bridge maintenance duties
  • Assist with other Bridge Worker tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Heavy Rigid (HR) Vehicle Licence
  • Current Construction Industry White Card
  • Experience and relevant tickets for C6 or Vehicle Loading Crane (highly desirable)
  • Ability to secure loads and follow safe work procedures
  • Flexible to work away from home when required
  • Workers on Foot ticket (or willing to obtain)
  • Willingness to obtain Traffic Controller (TC) ticket if not already held

Other Information:

This assignment is expected to run until the end of December 2025, with the potential to be extended. The role offers up to 38 hours per week and a 9-day fortnight.
