About the role

Stabilfix Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operator/Truck Driver to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in operating a range of heavy machinery and driving trucks to support our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating Caterpillar RM500 and Wirtgen Soil Stabilisers and Lime Spreader Truck to complete construction tasks
  • Driving trucks to transport equipment, and personnel to and from job sites
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on assigned vehicles and machinery
  • Complying with all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
  • Collaborating with the construction team to identify and address any operational issues

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a plant operator and truck driver in the construction industry
  • Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence and a current White Card for the operation of relevant plant equipment
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the construction crew
  • Commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of safe work practices
