Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to support the P-8A Poseidon Program at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Edinburgh, South Australia.

About the Role:

  • Maintain qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills - Avionics in accordance with Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed and corrective actions satisfy task requirements
  • Perform aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion and certification, in accordance with maintenance authorisation
  • Use equipment as per authorised instructions for safe and proper use

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) - Essential
  • Obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) - Essential
  • Possess a C class driver's licence - Essential
  • Suitable for obtaining DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) - Essential
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance procedures and DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework - Essential
  • Demonstrate contemporary working knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices - Essential
  • Prior experience in 737NG or derivative aircraft maintenance - Desirable
