Die Cutting Assistant Job

In this role, you will assist the Die Cut Operator to convert and embellish flat end and printed sheets into single units.

  • Assist the Operator with set up of the machine to ensure quality standards are met
  • Undertake quality checks on products
  • Assist the Operator with each job to meet quality and productivity requirements
  • Operate the machine to ensure continuous running
  • Conduct routine maintenance in accordance with the Daily Equipment Care checklist
  • Coordinate workload with the Operator to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide training to other staff members as required
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within the department in accordance with GMP Policy and Audits

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read technical drawings

Key areas of knowledge include:

  • Cutting and creasing techniques
  • Machine function and operation
  • Understanding of machine and job tooling
  • 'Pre make ready' process expertise
