We're Building Mobile Experiences, and we need your expertise to drive innovation. As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll be leading the development of our mobile app, focusing on delivering seamless experiences that support millions of users worldwide.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Android engineering, with a strong background in Kotlin and deep understanding of Android internals. You've built and maintained complex mobile apps in production, preferably in high-growth startups or scale-ups.

We're looking for someone who can drive architectural improvements, partner closely with product, design, and backend teams, and mentor other engineers. Experience with Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, or performance profiling tools is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of key features in the Blinq Android app
  • Drive architectural improvements that scale with our global user base
  • Partner closely with product, design, and backend teams
  • Mentor other engineers and lead code reviews
  • Contribute to internal tooling, CI/CD improvements, and performance optimisation efforts
Required Skills and Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Android engineering experience
  • Expert-level Kotlin skills
  • Deep understanding of Android internals
  • Track record of building and maintaining complex mobile apps
  • Solid knowledge of Android architecture patterns like MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
