Are you a dedicated and skilled Enrolled Nurse looking for a challenging role in urgent care? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Urgent Care Practice Nurse – Enrolled Nurse.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality nursing support to patients in urgent need of medical attention. As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate with Registered Nurses (RN) to ensure all patients receive appropriate care.
About the Role:
- Provide exceptional nursing support to patients with injuries or illnesses.
- Assist RNs in performing various care activities, including history assessments, administering medications, wound care, plastering, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient files.
- Participate in workplace health and safety practices, ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency setting, with a focus on acute injury and illness management and fast-track patient flow.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Passion for patient-centered care and a personable approach.
