The ForHealth Group delivers quality, accessible healthcare across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Registered Nurses in providing patient care for injuries or illnesses.
- Perform activities including history assessments, administering medications, wound care, plastering, and patient education.
- Ensure care activities are within scope of practice and comply with policies and procedures.
- Support services, greeting and assisting patients, monitoring appointment book, registering and updating registration details as required.
- Provide guidance on inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone as required.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, completing tasks such as billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.
- Document comprehensively in all patient files.
- Participate in workplace health and safety practices, reporting incidents and hazards as per policies.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency setting, managing acute injury and illness, and fast-tracking patient flow.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle escalations and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- A personable approach to patient-centered care.
