
Aircraft Avionics Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Engineer to join our team at RAAF Base Pearce, WA. As an Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance activities across various aircraft platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- ">
- Collaborate with the Shift Team Lead to execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with operational demands.
- Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and maintenance on avionic systems and components across fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out using authorised technical data and in compliance with Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities, meeting certification and reporting requirements.
- Identify, report, and escalate defects, maintenance issues, and quality non-conformances as they arise.

- Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade i.e. Cert IV Aeroskills – Avionics (Mandatory).
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance (Mandatory).
- Experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment.
