The Opportunity

A Visual Arts position has become available due to parental leave, offering a 12-month, 4-day per week opportunity to make a difference in our department. Our team is a cohesive, positive, and high-performing group of talented educators responsible for outstanding results in the HSC.

Our Visual Arts Teachers are passionate about fostering critical and creative thinking, supporting students across all levels and abilities.

This role may suit a recent graduate or an experienced teacher looking to work with and learn from some of the best educators in the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • NESA accreditation and excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus
  • Ability to teach across the Secondary curriculum
  • Willingness and confidence to deliver Stage 4 Visual Arts
  • Be a positive and collaborative contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes
  • Confidence in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom
  • Reflective professional engaged in ongoing development and research in relation to your practice
  • Commitment to supporting student wellbeing
  • Support and promote the ethos and values of the College
