Group Life Pricing Leader

As a senior leader in the Group Life Insurance team, this role plays a crucial part in supporting the delivery of the Group Insurance Strategy and the wider Group Life business.

The ideal candidate will cultivate strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including Heads of Partnership and Insurance Strategic Partners, and Head of Insurance growth and New Business.

This position is responsible for leading and developing a high-performance team of product professionals who are skilled in pricing and business management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborative input into Group Life Insurance strategy
  • Providing Pricing leadership and quality assurance, peer review of Partner Pricing and reinsurance treaties
  • Research and development of pricing and data analytics
  • Cultivating trusted Group Life Pricing relationships with TAL's Partners
  • Liaising with Finance to deliver governance planning and ensure consistency with TAL's product Pricing Policy and Appointed Actuarial Framework

The successful candidate will have proven, senior-level pricing and business management skills in Life Insurance, extensive experience in the Group life Market, strong strategic thinking and relationship development skills, and outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Key Qualifications:

Pricing and Business Management Expertise: The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of pricing strategies, principles, and best practices in the Group Life insurance market.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams, motivate and inspire staff to achieve goals and objectives.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.

Relationship Development Skills: Strong relationship building and maintenance skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
