Electrical Engineering Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to collaborate with our diverse network of water specialists in designing and developing electrical systems for engineering projects within the Water Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive electrical engineering design including modeling, drawings, calculations, reports, and design criteria.
  • Analyze and design electrical systems using company-standard software and proprietary manufacturer tools.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting electrical systems and materials, and developing electrical specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical systems through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and visual formats.
  • Prepare electrical engineering documents, including construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
  • Identify and address technical problems promptly.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering with an emphasis on Electrical.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar position, with well-rounded experience in Water and Wastewater projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in LV and MV power systems in Australia.
  • Proficiency in CAD and power engineering software tools.
  • Hold CPEng and RPEQ status.
  • Excellent people management skills.
