We are seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Qscan Radiologic Clinics. This is a permanent full-time position based at our Head Office in Clayfield, reporting to the Billings & System Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run weekly reports detailing outstanding accounts and target outstanding accounts to be balanced within 90 days from the date of service.
- Conduct audits, liaise with debtors, correct payments and item numbers, and create payment plans as appropriate.
- Prepare reports to be included in Board reporting outlining outstanding debtors, refunds, and write-offs.
About You
We are looking for an individual with experience in medical administration, patient accounts, or similar, excellent customer service skills, and strong organisational and time management abilities. You will also have:
- Sound computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel skills.
- High-level administrative and word processing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to ensure privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of patients.
- Previous experience working in the healthcare industry.
- Working rights within Australia.
