The Position
We are seeking a General Practitioner to join a thriving practice in a charming country town. The practice is expanding due to high demand, and there is flexibility for the new GP to choose their preferred patient base. Whether you want to focus on private billings or manage patients from the adjacent 130-bed aged care home, this role can be tailored to your strengths and interests.
The Practice
The clinic features 5 consulting rooms and strong nurse support from two Registered Nurses available on all consulting days. The practice serves a large and loyal patient base, ensuring full books right away. The lead GP, who has been with the practice for many years, is fully booked and happy to focus on aged care patients, leaving the new GP to manage private billing clients or take on a mix of patients.
The opportunity
- 70% of billings with a guaranteed $175 per hour for the first 3 months.
- Immediate full books and a massive patient base.
- Flexibility in managing the patient base—focus on private billings or aged care patients from the adjacent facility.
- Potential to take over the practice for those interested in a leadership role or ownership in the future.
- Nurse support from two Registered Nurses on all consulting days.
- Close integration with nearby allied health services and pharmacies.
The Location
This practice is located in a charming country town with beautiful natural surroundings. The area offers a peaceful lifestyle with easy access to larger cities. Several staff members already commute from Toowoomba, enjoying the best of both worlds.
