Key Principal Software Engineer

This role requires a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead technical strategy and governance across digital products. A strong background in software development and leadership skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities include defining the technical strategy, promoting scalable systems through governance and design reviews, resolving technical blockers, and acting as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the technical strategy for supported products.
  • Promote maintainable systems through governance and design reviews.
  • Resolve technical blockers and provide escalation support.
  • Standardise technical practices across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Act as a conduit between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor technical staff.
  • Develop and review design documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in software development using .Net and Angular.
  • Experience supporting digital solutions.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
