About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Program Lead to manage a flagship project in gold processing, working closely with AMIRA Global and industry sponsors. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiencies and spearheading innovative practices and technologies.

Job Description
This role involves managing a significant project in gold processing, focusing on improving operational efficiency and driving sustainable improvements. You will lead research and consultancy programs, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing stakeholder expectations and fostering collaborative relationships to influence positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead research and consultancy programs, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Drive sustainable improvements and advocate for innovative practices nationally and internationally.
  • Develop robust relationships with key project stakeholders, industry bodies, professional groups, and government organizations, offering high-level consultancy and strategic advice.
  • Manage team performance, align resources with business strategies, and maintain rigorous project management frameworks to achieve strategic objectives.


Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Extractive Metallurgy or a similar discipline and proven expertise in the management of significant resources. You will also have demonstrated leadership experience, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities. Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

Benefits
We offer a range of benefits, including a salary package estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous superannuation contribution (17%) with cash out options*. You will also enjoy locality allowance, rent subsidy, customisable salary packaging benefits through Paywise; as well as Hotel and Health Insurance discounts. Additionally, you will have access to Leave Loading, with the option to be paid out or taken as additional leave. Benefit from Parental Leave (26 weeks for the primary caregiver), Annual Leave (20 days), Personal Leave (14 days), Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Leave (5 days)*, Travel Leave (2 days), Study Leave, and Community Service Leave.
