Job Title: Procurement Leadership Opportunity
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled procurement professional to lead our Corporate Procurement Team. As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of procurement and contract management outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of procurement professionals to ensure compliance and delivery of high-quality procurement and contract management results.
- Provide expert advice and assurance on procurement and contract processes, including development and review of procurement plans, contracts, and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage the development and continuous improvement of procurement policies and processes in consultation with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in applying the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and connected policies.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams to achieve results within a high-performance environment.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
