Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Accountant to join our client's finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group
    • Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and comply with IFRS/GAAP and other regulatory requirements
  • Financial Analysis
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning
    • Assist in the development of the group's budget and financial forecasts
  • Compliance and Governance
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
    • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process for the group

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications along with CA or CPA certifications
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
    • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with Accounting software such as SAP, MS Dynamics or Oracle
