National Transport Coordinator Specialist

Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating national transport movements. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skills with support from both local and national teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport coordination with suppliers
  • Monitoring incoming and outbound shipping containers
  • Forecasting and scheduling transport movements
  • Dispatch and arrival date notifications
  • Processing of purchase orders
  • General data entry and maintenance of the ERP system

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the transport and logistics industry - minimum 3 years
  • Demonstrated knowledge across the Microsoft platform
  • Collaborative mindset with customer-centric ethos
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Baseplan or similar)
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
  • High attention to detail
  • Can-do attitude
