Job Opportunity:

The APS4 Finance Systems Officer is accountable for undertaking moderately complex finance system and finance-related activities and tasks within established procedures and guidance.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will work collaboratively to ensure that the following key responsibilities are completed:

  • Providing systems administration support for the key financial management system - TechOne.
  • Providing advice, assistance, and training to staff in the use of the TechOne system.
  • Managing TechOne system user access.
  • Providing assistance in developing enhancements for the TechOne system.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to other areas of the agency in relation to straightforward procurement and finance matters.
  • Complete end of month ledger rolls.
  • Extracting information from Technology One Financials and preparing basic reports.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in finance system administration support.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus, excellent communication abilities, stakeholder relationship, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate managing competing priorities and workload requirements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Systems, Finance, Commerce/Business or equivalent academic specialisation are highly desirable.
