This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a top financial institution and leverage your quantitative skills in credit risk management.

The team of specialist model reviewers is looking for someone with expertise in quantitative & statistical modelling, specifically in credit risk models, risk systems, loan loss provisioning, and capital management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Basel regulatory framework, including PD, LGD, and EAD modelling.

You will be responsible for reviewing models, risk systems, and loan loss provisioning across different risk classes. This will involve independent validation of both retail and non-retail risk models & scorecards, as well as analysing and documenting issues within risk management practices.

As a Quantitative Credit Risk Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders, including group risk, product risk areas, and external agencies. You will also have opportunities to engage with senior leaders and contribute to strategic discussions around credit risk management.

  • Validating risk models and scorecards to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Analysing data to identify trends and patterns in credit risk.
  • Developing and implementing new risk management strategies and procedures.

If you are a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a passion for credit risk management, and a desire to work in a dynamic environment, this could be the ideal role for you.
