Job Title

This is a part-time position for a maximum-term contract based in Hervey Bay.

  • The role involves overseeing the operational aspects of delivering a Community Careers project, working with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partner to deliver accredited training and personalised support for participants.
  • Responsibilities include recruiting participants, providing work readiness training, project reporting, and facilitating personal development activities to develop vocational and employability skills.

We are looking for someone with a Certificate IV or equivalent experience within Community Services, Employment Services, Training, or a similar sector. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the labour market and the issues faced by participants when planning to enter or return to the workforce.

  • The successful candidate will also be a confident communicator and a people person, able to connect with others including RTOs, local employers, and community groups.
  • They will have strong IT and administration skills, including experience recording case notes and using MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

You will play a critical role in helping our amazing participants on their journey to sustainable employment. You will be part of a diverse and inclusive culture that values resilience, empathy, and creativity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
