About This Role:


We are seeking a dedicated professional to support children and young people in foster care. You will facilitate safe connections with their families and significant others, providing guidance in various settings and maintaining accurate records.
This is a rewarding opportunity where you can strengthen family relationships and contribute to children's wellbeing. Shifts are primarily during daylight hours, with flexibility for extended hours.

Duties:


Main Responsibilities:
• Facilitate safe and meaningful family time sessions
• Mentor children and young people across different settings
• Build positive relationships with families and carers
• Provide written updates, reports, and case documentation
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent support
• Respond to complex situations professionally

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Essential Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Report writing and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work non-standard hours
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
