About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled and safety-focused Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance crews at our operations in Queensland. We are offering a competitive remuneration package and a flexible working culture.
You will be responsible for rebuilding, servicing, and diagnosing heavy mobile equipment, predominately CAT machinery. Your role will involve:
- Disassembling and assembling Cat machinery such as Graders, Dozers, Medium Vehicles, and Pumps
- Servicing and diagnosing Cat machinery such as Graders, Dozers, Medium Vehicles, and Pumps
- Proven experience in fault finding and maintaining Diesel & Hydraulic Systems
- Experience and product knowledge in Caterpillar heavy mobile mining equipment is preferred
- Creating a safe learning environment and a commitment to safety training and technical growth
About You
- Relevant Diesel fitting trade qualification
- A proven commitment to safety
- The ability to foster a teamwork atmosphere within your work group
- Previous experience with CAT machinery and diagnostic systems is desirable
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating high levels of initiative
- Demonstrated prior experience working with heavy plant and equipment or transferrable examples
- Forklift and dogging tickets are preferred but not essential
