Culinary Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our mental health day program as a Kitchen & Wellbeing Support Worker. This role involves creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment through the preparation of nutritious meals and overseeing kitchen operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to the wellbeing of participants. You will be part of a team that inspires people and enlivens communities.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
- Preferred: Certificate II in Hospitality or Kitchen Operations
- Experience in community, mental health, or support settings
- Hospitality or kitchen experience
- Volunteer supervision experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
- Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds
