Executive Researcher Role

We seek an innovative Executive Researcher to drive thought leadership in the cloud technology sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating strategic research and insights that propel business growth.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to top-tier organizations, leveraging your expertise to inform their cloud strategy. Your exceptional analytical skills will enable you to produce actionable insights, guiding clients through complex challenges and driving meaningful results.

You will engage with clients through various channels, including virtual meetings, sales support visits, and industry conferences. Your strong communication skills will allow you to convey complex concepts simply, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

  • Develop cutting-edge research to inform client cloud strategies.
  • Publish impactful research papers and whitepapers.
  • Analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Represent our organization at industry events, establishing credibility as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience working in the cloud and/or data center infrastructure space.
  • Expertise in public, private, and hybrid cloud services and technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cloud services market, including leading providers and emerging players.
  • Concrete experience of the product management lifecycle.
  • Executive presence to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions during 1:1 inquiries.
  • Ability to produce high-quality written deliverables within deadlines.
  • Ability to synthesize data quickly and accurately from multiple sources.
  • Strong communications skills to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
  • Deep knowledge of the global landscape and market interplay.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and supporting others in a multicultural environment.

Ongoing travel is required.
