Medical Oncology Fellow Position

The Medical Oncology Unit is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join their team as a Fellow in Breast Cancer.

About the Role:
  • Fulfill key responsibilities and accountabilities in accordance with the organization's purpose and objectives.
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer patients, attending weekly meetings where possible.
  • To fulfill key responsibilities and accountabilities in accordance with the organization's purpose and objectives.
  • A suitable candidate will be completing or have completed training in Medical Oncology within the RACP and have an interest in breast cancer.
  • This position has no staffing responsibilities.
  • Provide ethical decision-making in achieving organizational goals.
  • Deliver inpatient and outpatient care by assessing patients, determining and initiating appropriate investigations; establishing a management plan for patients in consultation with consultants; where necessary, ensuring discharge planning commences early in the patient's care process.
