Role Summary

The position of a Senior Financial Accountant plays a pivotal role in the finance and accounting department. This is a hybrid role that combines remote work with office-based work, offering potential global travel opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance Operations Management: Lead daily operations ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Financial Reporting: Contribute to monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, internal management reports, and shareholder templates.
  • BAS Preparation and Submission: Prepare, review, and submit Business Activity Statements as required.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Liaise with external auditors and various stakeholders as needed to maintain strong relationships.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Skills and Experience: Motivation for success, great attention to detail, solid understanding of accounting software, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of the energy industry.
