We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior ECC Veterinary Nurse to deliver high-end patient care in an emergency and critical care setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying clinical nursing skills to a caseload that includes blood transfusion therapy, mechanical ventilation, advanced catheterisation techniques, and triage/stabilisation of emergency patients.
- Deliver exceptional patient care in an emergency and critical care environment.
- Work closely with ECC specialists, intern and out-of-hours vets to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Utilise the Smart Flow system to assess and record patient vitals, identifying and reporting abnormalities.
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse looking to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in specialty and/or critical care roles.
- Further training in an ECC nursing role preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
