Occupational Therapist Position

This is an opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to patients on the acute medical/surgical ward.
  • Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate discharge plans that are patient-centred and support access and flow throughout the health service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Fully registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Eligible for membership with OT Australia.
  • Current Australian Driver's License.
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check VIC.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
