About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team as a Site Remediation Specialist in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global company, specialising in contaminated site remediation.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will design and implement remediation solutions across various sectors, including oil and gas, transport, manufacturing, and industrial sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed environmental site assessments and analysing data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water.
  • Supporting remediation projects by ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality fieldwork.
  • Preparing thorough technical reports, such as Validation ESAs and RAPs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in contaminated site remediation, including experience with remediation strategies.
  • A solid understanding of soil and groundwater contaminants.
  • Familiarity with WHS regulations and hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Skills in contaminated land sampling, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, science, geology, or related fields.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and knowledge of local regulations on contaminated sites.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities and a competitive remuneration package.
