About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to strengthen our sales culture and contribute to the growth of our membership base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting a strong sales approach across our network of centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales systems and processes to meet business needs.
  • Conduct tours of our centres to educate the community about our services and sell memberships.
  • Communicate with members through phone calls, outreach activities, and written communications related to membership queries.
  • Support the Membership Sales and Services Coordinator in administrative duties, including reporting and activities related to debt control and membership lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience team on marketing activations, centre displays, new member acquisition, retention initiatives, and customer feedback management.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and experience working in a member-based organisation. You will be comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people, possess strong communication and negotiation skills, and have high levels of resilience, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Essential Experience
  • Previous sales experience in a competitive environment.
  • High-level customer service skills and understanding of customer experience.
  • Ability to plan and organise tasks to meet timeframes and complete assigned tasks.
  • Experience working in a customer service/reception environment and familiarity with Perfect Gym/Membership Management Systems would be highly regarded.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple centres in Greater Geelong, with potential for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
