Job Opportunity: Bulk Haulage Driver

We are seeking an experienced and skilled driver to operate A-Double Tanker combinations in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines.
  • Complete accurate electronic reporting systems and documentation as required.
  • Comply with all relevant transport regulations, laws, and company/site policies.
  • Maintain secure transportation by adhering to load restraint guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A valid MC License with at least 2 years' recent driving experience in Australia.
  • Sound knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes is essential.
  • A clean demerit point history report within the past 5 years.
  • Visy Practical Driver Assessment certification.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
  • BFM Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Pride in maintaining high standards of truck presentation and maintenance.
