MBMpl Pty Ltd is a dynamic company that offers a supportive work environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receipting & Accounts Payable Officer.

About the Role:

This is a busy and fast-paced role that requires prioritising requests to ensure all tasks are completed by their deadlines. Reporting to the Executive Manager Finance, the successful candidate will work to provide support to various revenue hubs within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all customer payments and deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all payments are applied to the appropriate invoices or customer accounts.
  • Update the Accounts Receivable master file with changes in the status of invoices.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end accounts payable functions including, but not limited to:
  • Supplier record maintenance in our finance system (new suppliers, changes to existing suppliers etc.).
  • Coding and processing of invoices.
  • Electronic storage of invoices in a logical manner.
  • Emailing of remittances.
  • Selection of payments to be included in the weekly payment runs and preparation of the payment run.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliation as required.
  • Completion of supplier credit applications.
  • Managing the Accounts Payable email inbox and responding to suppliers.
  • Chasing, entering and payment of staff expenses as scheduled.
