About the Role

The finance team exists to set long and short-term growth targets, while helping the business make financially strategic decisions that support these plans. We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Cloud Finance Strategist to join our finance team with a dedicated focus on cloud spend and infrastructure investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling: Own and drive financial modeling to evaluate cloud infrastructure costs, pricing scenarios, and ROI of investments, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Strategic Analysis: Lead strategic financial analysis for long-term cloud capacity planning and infrastructure initiatives, balancing growth, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business operations teams to inform and influence the company's cloud and infrastructure strategy through financial insights.
  • Long-Term Planning: Support long-term strategic planning, including build vs. buy analysis, and vendor negotiations.
  • Economic Analysis: Influence product-level decisions by analyzing margins and unit economics tied to cloud consumption and cost allocation.
