The Opportunity:

As a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, including maintaining information in the Treasury Strategic Information Management System (SIMS). You will also develop and maintain financial costing models for the costing of services and prepare reports, including the Executive Management Report.

This role works collaboratively with Managers and staff to ensure provision of high quality service. Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Preparing adjustments in the Department of Treasury's SIMS for the Mid-Year Review and budget process.">
  • Assisting in the preparation and coordination of recurrent and capital funding submissions to the Expenditure Review Committee (ERC).">
  • Preparing the Report on Government Services (ROGS) for National reporting to the Productivity Commission.">
  • Preparing service cost allocations and assisting in the costing of performance indicators for the Department's budget statements and annual report.">
  • Reviewing fees and charges consistent with Treasury guidelines and departmental revenue pricing policy.">
