The Cash Management Team

Cash Management Role

We seek an experienced Engineering Lead to drive technical direction and execution of cash management solutions. As a leader, you'll design, develop, and deploy high-quality software meeting customer needs.


This role is based in Melbourne.



Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cash management solutions aligning with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, including agile development, continuous integration, and automated testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in fintech.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team through knowledge sharing and mentorship.


Requirements:

We're looking for candidates meeting the minimum qualifications. Preferred qualifications are great to have but not mandatory.



Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on financial systems or related areas.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with distributed systems, cloud-based technologies, and microservices architectures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.


Estimated Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 per year

Airwallex offers a competitive salary range, commensurate with experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and location.
