Job Title: Clinical Governance AdvisorAbout the Role:

The Clinical Governance Advisor will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all clinical governance aspects across the organisation. This role will strengthen the organisation's focus on clinical governance and aim to support the consistent implementation of well-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical advice on policies, projects, reports, and data interpretation
  • Support risk management systems, particularly risks associated with safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults
  • Contribute to quality improvement processes, risk management systems, and the overarching clinical governance framework
Requirements:
  • Formal qualification as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Mental Health Professional, registered with the relevant board
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and engaging in accreditation processes
  • Experience in successfully developing and implementing organisational or system-level clinical governance
  • Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people
  • High-level knowledge of contemporary, evidence-based approaches to safeguarding children, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, and complex trauma
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clinical Psychologist/Social Worker/Mental Health Professional qualifications
  • Accreditation process experience
  • Clinical governance development and implementation
  • Cultural competency and awareness
