Key Responsibilities:
  • To strategically align test efforts with agreed deliverables and Business Requirements.
  • To effectively deliver testing objectives as part of an Agile multi-disciplinary team.
  • To contribute to planning activities including testing estimation at a program, increment, and sprint level.
  • To work with the test manager or test leads to identify the scope of the testing required for releases based on the business outcomes and aligned to the department's testing frameworks.
  • To produce test artefacts such as test plans, test cases, and test summaries utilising test management tools.
  • To work with analysts and developers to plan test activities for test case design, identify the testing effort required, monitor progress, and manage timeframes.
  • To record and track test results and defects utilising test management tools.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of various software testing methodologies, types, and test case design techniques.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of Testing principles such as Test Phases, Test reporting, Test Traceability, Defect Triage, and the Defect Management Lifecycle.
  3. Experience working in an Agile software development environment and working in a multi-disciplinary project team.
  4. Previous experience working on similar systems or experience in a Government Agency.
  5. Experience working across the Microsoft technology stack, including D365, Azure services, and SQL.
  6. Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium and SOAP UI.
