Next-Gen Platform Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building secure, robust, highly available, and scalable solutions for our Enterprise Cloud Platforms. You will work with a diverse set of engineers, architects, and teams to create innovative platforms that meet the needs of our organization.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement secure, robust, highly available, and scalable solutions.
  • Lead all aspects of reliability, working with technical experts, key stakeholders, and team members to resolve complex problems.
  • Analyze and synthesize large data sets to identify areas for continuous improvement of the platform.
  • Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms in your remit.
  • Collaborate with a global team to identify, analyze, and resolve platform vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call coverage following the sun model and perform blameless post-mortems as needed.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of combined experience in SRE, software development, or infrastructure engineering (4 years with an advanced degree in Computer Science or related field).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining cloud platforms on a major cloud service provider.
  • Strong experience implementing, monitoring, and maintaining highly scalable and resilient Data Services platforms on major CSPs like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Databricks, RDS, or OpenAI platforms.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, and .Net; 5+ years applied experience in Python/Java.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking (firewalls, DNS, Load Balancing, Proxies, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are a must.
