Job Title: Department Head

About our institution, a Prep-Year 12 educational organization with a unique sub school structure.

This senior role involves:

  1. Leveraging experience and vision to lead the implementation and delivery of the Australian Curriculum Design Technology across 7-10 year levels
  2. Developing curriculum areas aligned with industry needs and trends
  3. Fostering instructional leadership and coaching within and across faculties
  4. Strategically managing human, financial and curriculum resources within the faculty

The Department Head reports directly to the Principal or their designated representative.

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  • Leadership and Team Management
  • A deep understanding of the Design Technology curriculum (AC, QCAA and VET)
  • Industry knowledge and awareness of current trends and directions
